Time is the most precious gift we have. With that said, most of us ignore time as if we had an unlimited supply of it. As far as your life is concerned, you can either have a great time or you can waste time. In other words, you can either choose to enjoy the time you have or try to come up with a myriad ways to kill time. Sadly, whenever you’re killing time, you are actually killing a portion of your life. This may sound a bit harsh, but the truth is that if you are not having the time of your life, you are committing slow suicide. If you do not want to comprehend that you are going to die and are willing to change your life to enjoy every second of the time you have left, you might as well go home now.
Here is a sobering example: imagine you woke up with sharp pain this morning. You go to the doctor and it turns out that you have a stage 4 cancer with less than 30 days to live. What will you be thinking of? What would you be doing for the next 30 days? (Pause, write down how you feel and what you will do).
